Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

  • What services do you offer? Strategy, design, development, and support, covering the full arc of a website project. We can take a project end-to-end or step in at any point. All development is done in Framer.

  • What kind of projects do you typically work on? Landing pages, full websites, platform migrations, and Framer development. We also handle Figma-to-Framer builds, template customization, site refreshes, targeted fixes, and partnerships.

  • What if I only need a small task? Smaller work is welcome. We take on targeted fixes, optimizations, and standalone consulting sessions. Send us the details and we will tell you if we can help.

  • What is a Framer Partner and Expert? A designation from Framer's team for knowledge, quality of work, and professionalism. Connor holds both Partner and Pro Expert status, and is recognized among the top 1% of creators globally.

  • Where can we see more of your work? Our Featured Work holds a curated selection, and Connor's Framer Experts profile shows additional projects. For work relevant to your industry, ask us and we will share what we can.

Pricing

  • How do you determine pricing? It depends on scope and timeline. We explore what's needed in a casual manner and provide simple breakdowns before moving forward. Full end-to-end projects typically range from $5,000 to $35,000.

  • How long does a project take? A landing page is typically live in about two weeks, and a full website in about four. Timelines depend on scope, and the most common delay is content readiness on your side, so we flag what we need early.

  • How do you keep payments/documents secure? Payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified provider using bank-grade encryption. Our contracts are signed via DocuSign with AES 256-bit encryption, providing reliable documentation for both parties.

  • We are located in the United States, can you work with us? Yes. If you are based in the US, we will provide a completed W-8BEN-E for your records, and services are likely not subject to sales tax; any applicable Canadian GST/HST treatment is handled separately.

Working Together

  • Where is Kintsu Labs based? We operate out of Alberta, Canada. Most projects happen entirely remote. Local clients have the option for in-person, and select clients may fly us out for on-site collaboration.

  • How do we get started? Schedule an intro chat or send us an email. We will chat about your goals, where you are now, and what success looks like. Once there is alignment, it is quick: a signed agreement and first payment.

  • What is your approach? Each project is built around your scope and circumstances. Great work comes from being clear about the objective, then pursuing it with relentless care. We keep the process simple while staying efficient and effective.

  • What if priorities shift mid-project? We know changes can happen. For fixed projects, we issue a revised scope for approval. For retainers, adjustments roll into your engagement naturally. We will never hit you with an unexpected invoice.

  • How do you communicate and manage work? Email, Google Meet, Figma, Notion, and Framer form our core stack. If you prefer to use your in-house systems (e.g. slack, teams, trello, etc.), that works too.

  • Can you work with our in-house team? Yes. We can cover the process end-to-end, integrate with your in-house staff, or collaborate alongside third parties.

Ownership & Deliverables

  • Do we own everything you design? Once the invoice is paid, our work is yours. You may need to manage standard applicable third-party licenses, but those are clearly identified during handoff.

  • Do you provide training on managing our site? Yes. Most projects includes a basic handoff session on content updates in Framer. We can also provide a variety of training in terms of depth, delivery, and duration.

  • How is ongoing maintenance managed? Sites need regular updates to stay functional and secure. We discuss early whether you will manage this or we will, then build accordingly.

  • Can we get help with updates in the future? Of course. For those we have worked with before, we handle most one-off requests and can discuss ongoing support if that makes more sense.

Other

  • Have a question we did not cover? Not a problem. Please reach out via email or schedule an intro chat and we would be more than happy to help.
